Jill and I had fucked a few times, but they’d been one night stands and pretty routine. This particular evening I’d had Jill round to my place and cooked a pretty fair dinner, and I was beginning the let’s-go-to-bed gambit.

Jill seemed to come to a sudden decision. “Fucking’s pretty nice,” she said, “but we’ve always been so eager we haven’t really gone in for any foreplay.”

I have often wondered what it would be like to come and visit you. I would love to see your town and more importantly, you. I think I would come in May or early June… I would maybe wear white slacks with a silky red or pink blouse, low healed shoes, my pearl studs and a very big smile. I could picture my flight and feel the excitement. Then the cab ride over to your house and the slow walk up to your house. I can even see you opening the door for me and taking my suitcase as you invite me in. (more…)

I reached up to cup his cheek in my palm, trace his jaw with my fingertips.

“Yes,” was all I said.

He joined me naked on the bed, all smooth skin and muscles, warm mouth open on my breast, artist”s hands stroking my skin. Then his mouth sought mine, his kiss demanding, a little frantic, his mouth forcing mine open, my mouth welcoming him inside. His lips soft, tongue wet, he tasted of coffee and tobacco.

Jake knew he was about to die, as the lorry in front of him ploughed into the tanker. But he wasn’t ready yet; he saw the tanker hit the post and the electric wiring land on top, setting the fire that created the fireball. He was doing eighty-mph when it happened, with no way of avoiding the carnage ahead. Just before the fireball hit he could have sworn he saw his own car up ahead, then blackness. He suddenly found himself back at his desk, looking into the computer screen in front of him.

The jet touched the runway without a sound or hint of movement. Nice job, thought Paul as he waited for the plane to taxi to the Terminal. He gathered his carry-ons and waited his turn to exit the airplane. The pilot was standing outside the cockpit door as Paul walked by to deplane. (more…)
